Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
The increasing adoption of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies for indoor environmental monitoring has enabled the continuous assessment of parameters such as noise levels, temperature, humidity, and air quality, contributing to healthier and more comfortable indoor spaces. However, the distributed nature of these systems also introduces significant cybersecurity challenges that may compromise the integrity, availability, and reliability of the collected data.

This project aims to design and implement a low-cost IoT testbed for indoor environmental monitoring and to perform a comprehensive security evaluation of the proposed architecture. The testbed will integrate a network of sensor nodes, an edge gateway, and a monitoring platform based on open-source technologies. Different cyberattack scenarios, including spoofing, replay, denial-of-service, and false data injection attacks, will be analysed to assess their impact on the monitoring system.

The resulting platform will provide a realistic and reproducible environment for evaluating cybersecurity mechanisms and validating future solutions aimed at improving the resilience and trustworthiness of IoT-based indoor environmental monitoring systems.
