pedra i 284 construccions d'emmagatzematge d'aigua, com ara
pous, basses i aljubs.
7,42 km i 12,90 km.

Overview (resum en anglès): This final degree project analyzes the integration of natural elements in the agricultural activity of the Alt Penedès, focusing specifically on the wine landscape and its rich heritage of traditional dry stone architecture. Through a multi-scale methodology that combines bibliographic research, digital cartographic analysis through QGIS and technical recognition on the ground, a complete regional inventory has been developed that catalogs 1.805 vineyard huts, 19 stone walls and 284 water storage constructions, such as wells, ponds and manure. The study details how these structures, recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO, not only make up the historical legacy of the region, but act as essential infrastructures of climate resilience in combating soil erosion, improving water retention and functioning as vital microhabitats for local fauna in the face of threats from monoculture and mechanization.

Likewise, the research is transferred to the local scale by examining the municipality of Subirats and the environment of the Can Rossell urbanization, a transition sector where the tensions between the agricultural continuum and the fragmentation caused by the low residential density of the late 20th century are evident. As a formal response to this diagnosis and the challenges of the climate emergency, a proposal for landscape intervention is proposed by designing an itinerary divided into several sections of routes between 7,42 km and 12,90 km. This route connects the identified dry stone elements and becomes a pedagogical and experiential tool for citizens, highlighting the subtlety of human activity and the ability to regenerate nature in the agricultural areas of the region.
