Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
Estudi, proposta d'intervenció i protecció ambiental del Pantà de la Serra i els tossals com a elements clau del funcionament ecològic.
El treball parteix de l'anàlisi i valoració del paisatge agrícola de Sidamon i el seu entorn, dins la unitat de paisatge de la Plana d'Urgell. Es tracta d'un territori amb un ús molt intensiu del sòl agrícola, dominat per monocultius de regadiu i amb una forta dependència de pesticides, herbicides i fungicides. Aquesta pressió constant sobre el medi provoca una pèrdua de diversitat d'usos i un desequilibri de la biodiversitat, que fins i tot ha derivar en problemes econòmics relacionats amb l'aparició de plagues.
En aquest context, destaca un espai singular: el pantà de Sidamon, que darrerament mostra un increment notable de biodiversitat (aus aquàtiques, nius d'ocells com el teixidor, libèl'lules...). El contrast entre aquest petit nucli de biodiversitat i l'entorn agrícola intensiu el converteix en un punt clau per a la conservació de la fauna i flora.
L'objectiu del TFG és doble:
1. Fer una diagnosi exhaustiva del paisatge (anàlisi, cartografia, valors i problemàtiques).
2. Desenvolupar una proposta d'actuació centrada en el pantà de Sidamon, amb dues línies principals:
o Protegir i potenciar la biodiversitat (buscar protegir-ho via legislativa, corredors ecològics, preservació d'àrees sensibles, restauració de marges, implantació de refugis i habitats per la fauna').
o Dissenyar entorns accessibles per a les persones, amb limitacions i criteris de compatibilitat entre ús públic i conservació.

Overview (resum en anglès): This project focuses on the study of the Pantà de la Serra and its immediate surroundings, located between the municipalities of Sidamon and Miralcamp,
in the Pla d'Urgell. The area is set within a highly transformed irrigated agricultural plain, where the hillocks, wetland areas, agricultural edges and hydraulic
traces constitute singular elements within an apparently homogeneous landscape.
The study is based on the analysis of the territory, its historical evolution and its environmental, landscape and social values. Special attention is given to the
role of the reservoir as a refuge for biodiversity, its relationship with the nearby hillocks and the function these elements may have within the ecological connectivity
of the Pla d'Urgell. At the same time, the project analyses recent alterations, erosion processes, the pressure of agricultural and extractive uses, and
the lack of specific management to ensure the conservation and improvement of the area.
Based on this diagnosis, the project proposes criteria for landscape restoration, management and planning aimed at strengthening existing natural values,
improving habitats, supporting wildlife, organising social uses and recovering the landscape interpretation of the site. The study understands the Pantà de la
Serra not only as a hydraulic element or a residual space within the agricultural matrix, but as an area with ecological, landscape and identity-related potential,
capable of articulating a new relationship between biodiversity, agriculture and the social use of the territory.
