Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
Context i justificació:

Overview (resum en anglès): This final bachelor's thesis establishes that the comfort of a space, or that generated by an entity, is not a subjective or random perception, but a tangible phenomenon grounded in the interactions of the landscape. As the main result of this research, the Physics of Comfort is presented, a theoretical framework demonstrating that the equilibrium of a space can be read and evaluated by understanding its internal order, the environmental forces of influence, and the cyclic stress derived from the collision between entities.
The objective of the essay is to decipher and reveal the invisible mechanics that govern interactions within the landscape, moving away from a classic reading between nature and architecture to delve into dark ecology and systems dynamics. To achieve this, an inductive method based on grounded theory is adopted. The research stems from the observation of three phenomenological case studies conducted in the public space of Barcelona: the adaptation experiment "Minimum Shelter", the parametric extraction "The Radiograph", and the conscious materialization exercise "Translating Landscape".
From the empirical analysis of these human and spatial frictions, a theoretical corpus is abstracted where the Gradient is established as the basic unit of the landscape. This Gradient is governed by the interactions of the Forces and Tensions ruling in space, and is configured by a fundamental triad: the Confined (the structure), the Conduit (the operative filter), and the Conductor (the driving force).
Thus, the document aims to introduce itself into contemporary landscape architecture not as an observation or design intention upon a static territory or space, but as the conscious activation of an ecosystem of intangible variables hidden in plain sight.
The essay culminates with the theoretical application of these concepts through an established equation. Without intending to reduce the entire theoretical corpus to this single expression, the formula acts as a methodology to parameterize the described variables and assign a numerical value to this perception.
