Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
This project focuses on the agricultural landscape along the Yellow River in Jinan, China. With the development of Jinan, urban construction around the Yellow River has gradually increased, while large areas of agricultural land still remain along the river. These areas form a distinctive local agricultural landscape.
Through an analysis of the existing conditions, the project studies the relationships between agricultural land, roads, water systems, vegetation and villages, as well as the existing connections between the city and the Yellow River. Based on this analysis, the project reidentifies the value of agricultural land within the development of the city and uses the existing agricultural landscape as an important basis for the design.
The design mainly focuses on two aspects: protection and connection. On the one hand, the existing agricultural landscape structure is preserved. On the other hand, existing roads and bridges are used to improve the connections between the city, agricultural areas and the Yellow River. At the same time, small-scale public spaces and resting areas are introduced at selected locations, allowing residents to access and experience the agricultural landscape more easily.
Through the protection of the existing agricultural landscape and appropriate landscape interventions, the project aims to improve the relationship between the city, agriculture and the Yellow River, while maintaining the existing agricultural functions and landscape characteristics of the site.
